A personal tribute to Laurent Voulzy

 

This instrumental version was recorded several years ago after someone from Laurent Voulzy's publishing company suggested I reinterpret this beautiful song in my own musical universe. Over the years, it has become one of the most listened-to tracks in my catalogue.

One detail makes this recording even more special to me: the drummer on this version is my friend Laurent Faucheux, who was also Laurent Voulzy's drummer for many years. Having him play on this recording gave this tribute an even more personal meaning.
